Shopping

Here are some good resources for you. The first is a shopping guide to the Charlotte area. Next is a great list from Whole9 on seasonal produce. We've also included links to websites on the top fruits and vegetables you should purchase organic and the ones you don't have to. Then we have a list of acceptable fats from Balanced Bites. The last is an extensive approved listing for those looking to whip up their own recipes. Most files are available to print and download.

T & D Farms is great local source of grass-fed (and grass-finished) ground beef, pastured pork and chicken. Todd and Danielle raise a Charolais-Limousine cross breed of cow, which is naturally lean and the tastiest beef you will ever eat! They deliver year round to the Meeting Street Market @ Cedar Walk in Ballantyne if you place an order with them online or they also sell weekly at the market starting in May. Please contact them for your meat needs and support our local farms!
